WHS Wrestling captured its 15^th District Wrestling Title.  Westside has only been open for 16 years, so do the math.   Nine out of the 13 Wrestlers, who participated. this past weekend will be moving on to Regionals at the Merrill Center in Katy Feb 12 – 13. 

The Wrestlers listed below, placed Top 4 and earned All-District Honors. They will be advancing to the Region III Finals this Weekend. A place at Regionals will qualify for the State Tournament, at will be held locally, at The Berry Center in Cypress, TX on February  19 – 20.  

106- George Henson – 2^nd Place

113- Ty’Rae Carter—DISTRICT CHAMPION

120- Daniel Hernandez-Mendoza – 3^rd Place

126- Takaya Matsuki  — 2^nd Place

132- Juan Romo – 2^nd Place

138- Myles Hampton DISTRICT CHAMPION

145- Trey Graham – 5^th Place (Regional Alternate)

152- Trey Baimbridge — 4^th Place

182- Pharoah Dixon—2^nd Place

285- Rocco Marianai – 4^th Place.
