Kortlin Allen, Writer

Kortlin Allen is a junior at Westside High School. This is her first year on the Howler News Staff. She is passionate about playing basketball and graduating high school. She is excited about going to college because that means she is one step closer to her goal of becoming a Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) player.

Kortlin currently plays varsity basketball for Westside, she is also a part of the National Society of High School Scholars. Her favorite color is purple, she has 2 dogs named Beauty and Bruce, her favorite song right now is Potna Dem, and her favorite place to eat is Chipotle. On the weekend she loves to play basketball and hang out with friends and family.

For her first time on the Howler News, she would like to write about sports. Her goal is to give people a different perspective on the different sports.
