Planning to get your makeup nice and tight for 2017 prom? I have a few neat tips to get you started…

There are a lot of places where you can schedule to get your makeup done, starting from Mac, Sephora, and the list can go on but today we will be focusing on Ulta Beauty. For those who aren’t so familiar with the company it is a chain of beauty stores in the U.S that carry things such as cosmetics, skincare brands, men’s and women’s fragrances, and hair care products. For starters I, myself, have never gone to a makeup appointment, so it may not only be you who’s new with this (if you are). If you’re planning to get your makeup right for prom, I suggest you stay on top of everything by planning ahead.

Don’t think you’re guaranteed a spot without any type of appointment being made, no matter where you go..

Not only do you have prom but thousands of other girly teenagers too. The way most makeup appointments work they can be a little pricey, depending on what all you’re looking into. For instance, a 45-minute makeup application at Ulta is just $40, and if you were to go in early and had the interest into how they did your makeup so nicely they’ll teach you a lesson as they go which will end up being $50. You can compare that to Joesphine’s, on Eldridge**, their prom make-over is $100 plus!

You’d have to have time for that though as I said before because it’ll last up to 60-minutes with all the tips and techniques they show you to achieve as they say “a red carpet look”. For all the lashy girls out there, they also do those! Starting at $10 and going up depending on what type of lashes you’re into..The highest they go up will be $150. So if you’re trying to slay like a Beyonce or a Selena…Ulta got you!
