Westside Defensive Tackle standout, Jordan Elliott, was front and center at the National Signing Day, where he committed to The University of Texas in Austin.  Considered a 4Star DT, Jordan was widely recruited by the likes of Baylor, Michigan, and Houston.  In fact, during the summer Baylor University got the nod, then UofH was the top of the list.  Up until signing day, Jordon had indicated that he was headed to Michigan.  But it was Coach Charles Strong and the Texas Longhorns that got his final signature.Here at Westside, Jordan was a varsity Defensive Tackle, earning Army All-American Honors, and 4Star status as the 14th ranked player at his position in the country.  Jordon joins a strong recruiting class for UT, and is expected to see playing time right away.
