Shekinah Abolo, Editor-in-chief

Shekinah Abolo is a senior at Westside High School. This is her second and final year being a part of the Howler News staff. She is also a first-year member of Westside’s color guard.  She continues to remain adventurous as she likes to join many clubs throughout the school year.

Shekinah has had a love for reading and writing since the fifth grade, one of her favorite books being ‘The Hunger Games.’ Her love for literature continues to inspire her to write and share stories with the one place she values most, school.

After graduation she plans to attend The University of Houston, and major in marketing and communications. She continues to work hard to not only achieve her dreams, but to share and inspire others' as well.
