This year has been a bit of a conundrum for me and many others. It’s been so wild in fact that I cannot truly put in detail how unnerving it has been. It was quite stressful and difficult to choose a college this year because I was unsure of what I was planning to accomplish and how I was going to be able to start it. Some people are much smarter than I and have been setting up their college applications long before I even began mine, but I am just glad I was able to choose a college that fit my interests, in the long run, anyway.

To start off, I would like to describe my high hopes for my first year of college. I’m hoping that when Covid is finally over, I’ll be able to try out new sports and possibly enroll in a club of my choosing. Furthermore, I hope to be able to properly pursue my interests in computer science, and overall just enjoy the freedom that comes with college life in general. By that, I mean going out to eat food at restaurants with friends and enjoying the parties that come along with it along the freedom accompanied by it as well, to then hopefully be able to enjoy the freedom of being an adult. I am however not looking forward to the responsibilities of becoming an adult, for things like budget management and checkbook expenditures, or credit card management. These are things that are likely going to stress the heck out of me, but I’m sure ill get by. But in the end, I believe that the first real steps I take towards my own life will be good ones filled with joy and hope for the future, because, even if I don’t know what to expect I am still young with lots of time to figure out what i want to do in life
