Westside Wolves! Westside’s Inertia Dance Company is having auditions for the 2022 to 2023 school year. It will occur from April 25th to April 28th (Monday to Thursday) at 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The auditions will happen at GYM X100 at Westside’s campus. The agenda includes:

• Learning the choreography for both boys and girls on April 25th.
• Reviewing day for both boys and girls on April 26th.
• Girls’ audition on April 27th.
• Boys’ audition on April 28th.

Ms. Emily Gelsinger, a fond supporter of the dance company, commented on the reason to joining the team: “If you are passionate about dance and can work well in a team, you should consider auditioning for Inertia Dance Company. Ms. A fosters a safe, creative environment for storytelling and self-expression. With the tools you earn in this program, you will become a more well-rounded person and dancer.”

Ms. Gelsinger also gives her own advice for those auditioning: “Inertia Dance Company is a highly-regarded dance company. They compete, collaborate and perform with other dancers in the Houston area, so be prepared to represent their mission! You also need to be ready to put the work in! The company works seamlessly together because they are willing to listen, learn, and invest the hours. If you have what it takes, be ready to take each practice seriously. If you do, you will succeed.”
