The National Honor Society Election for 2022-23 school year officers took place on April 12th during lunch in the Westside Auditorium. Rising seniors competed for the positions of President, Vice President, Parliamentarian, and Hours Officers for the next school year. They all made speeches in hopes of winning the support and votes of the members. After all the candidates presented their speeches, the voting began. The President, Vice, and Hours officers were decided on April 12th, but the Parliamentarian was declared on the 13th.

Runtian Du was declared the next president, accompanied by his vice president Jennifer Alexander. Sanam Davariar and Hiranya Tennakoon will be the hours officers. The votes determined whether Melanie Hollins or Naane Richemond would be the Parliamentarian, but they both received the same amount of votes. Therefore both will be Parliamentarian but for different grade levels. Melanie Hollins will represent the seniors, and Naane Richemond will represent the juniors.
