Yasmeen Ammourah is a Junior at Westside High. She is a member of the Westside Wolf Band, plays the Clarinet, President of Students for Justice in Palestine and is a first year staff member of the Howler News.

In the little free time she has, she enjoys reading, writing, hanging out with friends, and eating at some of the best restaurants in Houston. She is a proud Palestinian-American who goes to Volunteer at the Palestinian festival almost every year.

She also aspires to be a Journalist major and work for the New York Times, National Geographic, or NPR in the near future.
