Traditional school subjects took a backseat for Westside underclassmen, as all the talk was about the subject of school uniforms, and the 2017 dress code changes.  Mixed opinions from students, teachers, and parents generated a lot of conversation throughout the spring semester.

While some liked the idea of a uniform, others felt that the restrictive dress would not be a positive.

Or necessary for that matter. 

But the final verdict is that all students attending Westside next year will be required to wear a school uniform.  Whether they like it or not.
