Vankey "Blu" Burks is a senior at Westside High School. Blu is a very busy student who participates in a lot of activities. Sports, for example, she plays basketball and runs track. She also recently joined the Ecology Club which helps keep our earth clean. She hopes that having experience with many activities would come in handy for her future.

In her free time, she likes to read books and exercise, not at the same time, of course. This is her first year as a Howler News Staff Member and she's excited for the new journey with the new crew, get it, News crew.
