For this Break the Chain I visited a newly opened restaurant in our area, known as Newk’s Eatery. The menu mainly offers choices of salads, pizzas, and sandwiches but in a nice and casual setting. There are also some desserts as well but there aren’t many to choose from. This is probably because the restaurant wants to focus more on healthy foods that taste great than foods that are good but are sugary.

Something that I tried was the Spicy Shrimp Pizza. It’s apparently the most popular dish at Newk’s, so I decided that it would be a good idea to try it out. While I am not the biggest fan of spicy foods I must say that out of all the spicy foods that I’ve tried this is probably my favorite. There are shrimp and bell peppers topped with the pizza slices. The bell peppers give the pizza the spicy kick but it’s so good that you just want to keep eating more and more, even when your mouth is burning. The restaurant itself is really nice and quiet so it’s the perfect place to go to if you want good food and some alone time for yourself.

Overall, Newk’s Eatery is a great place to go to if you want some quality food. It seems to be growing in popularity so hopefully it keeps that trend going for a long time. It deserves it.
