Every senior is getting ready for the night of the year. Westside High School’s Class of 22 Senior Prom.  Everywhere you look seniors are preparing proposals, or “promposals” as they are commonly called. Buying dresses and renting tuxes. Planning for pictures, makeup, dinner reservations, car rentals, and the all important after prom plans.

Westside’s Prom Night theme is  “All Glitz and Gold,” on Saturday, April 30th, from 7 pm to 11 pm, Important to note that all seniors and their guests must arrive by 9:30 pm to be allowed in the event. Held at Hyatt Regency Houston West, off Eldridge and Interstate 10.  Dinner will be served  throughout the evening, and once students are checked in, they may not leave until 10:30 pm. Prom tickets are on sale  April 4-15. Tickets were $85 per student, until they increase to $100 on April 11th.  The ticket price and entry include food, beverages, and a prom goodie bag. Guests are permitted to go to prom as they must either sign “Contract A or B” on the Class of Westside 2022 on the HUB. All seniors who have paid their Senior dues are eligible to attend. Juniors and sophomores are allowed as a guest or date of a senior. Freshmen are not allowed to attend.

Prom night is the highlight of senior year everyone has been anticipating, and it will be an amazing, memorable night. As far as it goes, after-parties are in the making and being discussed among students, and it is yet to be determined. The countdown to the night of the year has begun.
