Michiya Young is a senior, and looking forward to her first year as a member of the Howler News staff.

Michiya is active in Westside's campus community. She is the event organizer for Westside's K-Pop Club, a second year HOSA member, and she is a proud member of STUCO. Michiya has a passion for hip-hop music and collecting albums. She wants to write stories that explore racial issues and student concerns. Looking forward Michiya wants to major in psychology and minor in dance.

Michiya is will be covering student life, student well being, and activities.
