Emily Mendez, Writer

 Emily Mendez, is a freshman at Westside High School, she is  14 years old and this is her first year on the Howler News staff. She likes to read and write in her  free time. She also loves to cook and bake whenever she can.  

She is a member of the Westside Culinary program and would like to pursue it as a career. Something she would like to do is learn French by joining the French class. 

She will be covering stories about sports and stories that investigate activities around school.
