A series of events occurred on the mysterious day that led the students to seem to be permanently clumsy. Freshman to seniors became unable to go to any class upstairs because it would lead them to come tumbling down whatever stairwell they were on. Science classes were no longer allowed to hold labs. It seemed to make a disaster of the school, but this was not true.After a week or so things started to return to normal with. After a week or so things started to return to normal with exception to a few students who couldn’t escape their clumsiness. The Principle made many efforts to try to figure out the cause of the misfortune, but the mystery remains unsolved.

The moment she came out of the plane, she already felt the shift in atmosphere. Rather than greeting people with warm Southern hospitality, people rushed through the airport in a hurry, bumping into her one after another. Feeling isolated more than ever, she quietly boarded her shuttle to her first city-destination.

At the prime of her lonesomeness, she fortunately meets two girls around her age—one from Miami, the other from Bronx. Although they were also from two big cities, she was able to relate to them in other ways. She recognized the kindness in their hearts that didn’t fit the stereotype of the inhabitants of the North. From that moment on, she wasn’t as afraid and she no longer felt so alone.

As the three girls wondered around the city, she noticed architectural shapes that she has never seen before. Buildings differed amongst the city—some looked ancient, some looked futuristic. In her small town in Texas, there were no buildings with such details. She was in constant awe as she looked up at the buildings that seemed to reach the clouds. Coming from a place of grass and sunshine, it was also odd for her to be in chilly weather. She no longer saw people dressed in oversized t-shirts and shorts; people wore coats, hats, and boots.

The Northeast has a reputation of making people cold. The tall buildings surrounded by people rushing in and out certainly justified the reputation it holds.

She eats it so much that the workers at the restaurant know her usual. Most days she goes through the drive-through, but today is different. Her sister, Sally decided to come with her today. Sam didn’t want to take her, but Sally persuaded her to take her by buying her meal.

They walk up to the cashier at the register and couldn’t decide what to order. They wanted everything but finally decided on something. When their food was ready, Sally got up to go get it. On her way back, she trips over her shoelaces and spills the tray everywhere. Sam freaks out! She was so hungry, she falls to the floor after the food. She picks up french fries from the floor and starts to eat them. Sally starts screaming at her to get up and stop being an embarrassment.

After a worker comes to help clean up, they sit down and begin to eat. Sam was so happy that her sandwich didn’t fall on the floor. Opening the bag up, you can smell the Barbeque. Opening her mouth, she began to stuff the honey BBQ chicken strip sandwich down her throat. The sandwich was gone and Sam was still hungry.

The first meal wasn’t enough, so she went back to the register and ordered another meal to-go. When it was ready, Sam and Sally left. On their way out, Sam handed the bag to Sally because she had to go get her phone that she left in the restaurant. Sally placed the bag on the ground to get her keys, and then all of a sudden a car comes out of the middle of nowhere. It drives right over Sams bag of food. As Sam comes outside, she sees her food getting smashed by the tire. Screaming at Sally, she freaks out. So hungry, she marches back into WowBurger and shows them her food. She demanded another meal, but they wouldn’t give her one. Feeling bad, Sally decides to buy her meal, again. When they got back in the car with yet another sandwich, Sam is thankful for her sister Sally.

It the first day of school and you are just trying to find you way around school and make new friends. By the end of the end of the first week, you find a nice group of friends to join and thing are going great.

School begins to crack down on the books and the work load starts get bigger. You see that the your first test of year is coming up. So you and your friends study together. You even decide to stay up late making sure you know all of the material. You continue to tell yourself “Don’t stress, don’t stress”. Finally it the day of the test and you think you have just knocked it out of the park and got an A+, but when your teacher put the grade in the grade book you realized that you were totally wrong. Its the first test grade of the year and you begin to think that your high school career is over, your not getting into college and your GPA is ruined. Later in the day, you see your friends  and you realized that they didn’t do good on the test either so you guys just sit contemplating life and the future as a high school students.

The following week of school rolls around you decide that you and your friends are going to retake the test. So you guys have study group leading up to the retake and you all got things in the bag. A couple hours after the retake you guys find out that you made and A+ and big smiled begin to form. You and your friends realize that in high school taking a lose is okay because everyone struggles and you should just have to find what work for you. You life isn’t ruined if you make one B. Colleges will still accept you and your future is still bright in the end.
