Attention wolves, we have exciting news! Around mid-July, there will be a trip to explore the glorious continent of Europe. The trip will last for two weeks and the host will be none other than Robert Alexander, the French teacher in S227. Howler News had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Alexander to give you guys more information about the thrilling voyage.

HN: When will the trip begin and when will it end?
RA: The trip will be in mid-July for about 2 weeks. We don’t have the exact dates yet.”

HN: Are only French students allowed to go on this trip?
RA: No! Any Westside student and their friends and family are welcome to enroll on the trip. In the past, we have taken younger and older siblings as well as parents!”

HN: Will students need to pay or is it free? If they must pay, how much?
RA: “There is a cost. The trip costs about $3000 but the cost includes almost everything.”

HN: What cities or countries will you guys be exploring while in Europe?
RA: This year we will be exploring Switzerland, Italy, the south of France and Barcelona, Spain.”

HN: What do you hope for students to learn from being on this trip?
RA: My goal is to get students excited about traveling and seeing the world. I got to take a trip like this to Europe when I was 15 and it changed my life. Ever since then I have loved to travel to different countries. It’s really exciting to see students visit a different country for the first time and knowing that it’s opening up something in them that will last a lifetime!
